Job summary

Whizdom in Canberra is seeking an experienced Export Control Officer to support a major Federal program in a secure environment. You will ensure compliance with export control regulations including ITAR, EAR and dual-use controls while supporting engineering teams in a defence context.

The role requires 5+ years in export controls or defence compliance, strong knowledge of ITAR/EAR, managing controlled technical data, and conducting audits with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in export controls, trade compliance or defence compliance.
• Strong understanding of ITAR, EAR and strategic goods controls.
• Experience managing controlled technical data and secure information environments.
• Proven compliance auditing and records management capability.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and training experience.
• Must Current NV1 or NV2 clearance.
