Bayview Secondary College on Hobart's Eastern Shore launches a transformative five-year food, environment and enterprise education initiative. The Advanced Skills Teacher will provide strategic leadership and oversee delivery, coordinating with staff, industry partners and community organisations to build authentic, work-integrated learning across Years 7–10 and develop VET pathways.

Formación

• Registered teacher with full registration under the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
• Tasmanian Industrial Commission qualifications in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, 2005.
• Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment.
• Desirable: Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership, coordination and oversight of Bayview Secondary College's transformative five-year food, environment and enterprise education initiative.
• Lead the implementation of a whole-school approach to experiential learning that connects students with pathways in horticulture, hospitality, tourism, environmental sustainability, bush foods, and social enterprise.
• Embed authentic, hands-on learning experiences across Years 7–10, develop VET pathways, strengthen community partnerships, and ensure long-term sustainability of the program.
