Job summary

Gracey Mining Pty Ltd in Moranbah, Queensland, seeks experienced Underground Coal Fitters to join our team supporting underground coal operations near Moranbah.

You will perform preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and fault-finding on underground mining equipment, to help maintain equipment reliability and support safe, efficient production. Camp accommodation and meals, subsidised flights, and a 7/7 roster are offered.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications in mechanical fitting.
• Experience in underground coal mining.
• Longwall or development mining experience.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• A commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and fault-finding on underground mining equipment.
• Support safe, efficient production and equipment reliability.
