Job summary

Hvo is seeking a Mechanical Fitter for Ulan Underground Mine in New South Wales. You will report to the Shift Supervisor and maintain underground mining equipment to meet safety and performance targets.

Applicants should hold a Mechanical Trade Qualification, have a strong safety focus, and thrive in a team environment. Underground experience, preferably in coal, will be highly regarded; on-site conditions in a remote region are part of daily work.

• Effectively manage risks associated with maintenance activities.
• Carry out planned maintenance and scheduling.
• Attend to breakdowns and apply suitable fault‑finding strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering and production personnel to achieve safety and performance outcomes.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Trade Qualification.

• Previous experience working underground (preferably coal).
