A mobile role with purpose: Deliver therapy in children’s natural environments, including their homes and other community settings.
A supportive team: Be part of a collaborative practice with opportunities to discuss cases, share ideas and access clinical support.
A focus on quality, not just quantity: Deliver individualised, functional therapy that makes a genuine difference to children and their families.
Build a caseload that suits you: Work with children and young adolescents whose needs and goals align with your clinical interests.
You will provide assessment and intervention for paediatric and early adolescent clients, working collaboratively with families, educators and other professionals to support meaningful outcomes.
The role may include:
Speech, language and communication assessment and intervention.
Supporting children with developmental language difficulties, speech sound disorders and literacy needs.
Working with neurodivergent children and supporting functional communication.
Developing individualised therapy plans and providing practical strategies for families.
Completing clinical documentation, reports and communication with relevant stakeholders.
Delivering mobile services across the Inner West and surrounding Sydney areas.
We would love to hear from an experienced Speech Pathologist who:
Has experience working with paediatric clients and young adolescents.
Is confident working independently in home and community settings.
Has strong clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills.
Enjoys working collaboratively with families and other professionals.
Is organised, reliable and comfortable managing their own clinical workload.
Holds current SPA membership, professional indemnity and public liability insurance, and a current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Private practice experience is highly regarded.
Position: Independent contractor.
Caseload: Paediatric and young adolescent clients.
Service delivery: Mobile, across agreed Sydney service areas.
Hours: Flexible, by mutual agreement.
Remuneration: Competitive contractor fee structure, discussed transparently during the recruitment process.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with an established practice while retaining the independence and flexibility of contracting.
We look forward to meeting you!
