Job summary

Rapid Consulting Engineers in Melbourne seeks an experienced engineer/technician for concrete NDT and core extraction. You will perform on-site testing, pull tests, and document data for engineering reports, while drafting detailed technical reports.

The role suits those with hands-on NDT experience and strong attention to detail. Casual full-time or part-time hours are available, with on-site work across commercial, industrial and residential sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in core extraction, pull testing and concrete NDT.
• Relevant qualifications and tickets (trade or technician, NDT/concrete testing certification, White Card).
• Current driver’s license and reliable transport to sites.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Good attention to detail and clear communication.

The role

• Concrete core extraction on site
• Pull-off / pull-out testing
• Non-destructive testing (NDT) of concrete
• Accurate site records and data capture to support engineering reports

What we offer

• $85,000 – $100,000 per year pro rata, plus super, depending on experience and qualifications
