K&H Geotechnical Services in Sydney NSW is seeking motivated graduates for an on-site role as a Graduate Civil Engineer / Concrete Field Technician. You will start by mastering soil, aggregate and concrete testing, sampling and quality control, with a clear pathway to move into management as you grow with the business.

Full training will be provided, including NATA laboratory and field-testing competencies.

Formación

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) is highly desirable or equivalent proven experience in materials testing.
• Strong engineering numeracy, analytical skills, and communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct field testing and sampling of fresh concrete, soils and aggregates
• Perform general laboratory testing techniques, including coring and stripping of samples
• Complete accurate daily technical logs and test reports
• Ensure proper use and care of testing equipment and systems
• Uphold safety, quality and environmental site policies

About the role

K&H Geotechnical Services is seeking motivated individuals for an immediate start as Field Technicians. While you will start on-site mastering the fundamentals of soil, aggregate and concrete testing, sampling, and quality control, this position features a structured pathway to step up into Management role and transition into executing complex Engineering Projects as you grow with the business.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting field testing and sampling of fresh concrete, soils and aggregates
• Performing general laboratory testing techniques, including coring and stripping of samples
• Completing accurate daily technical logs and test reports
• Ensuring proficient use and care of testing equipment and systems
• Strictly upholding safety, quality, and environmental site policies

About you

• A Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) is highly desirable, OR equivalent proven experience in materials testing
• A current Australian Driver's License and a valid Construction White Card
• Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Strong engineering numeracy, sharp analytical skills, and excellent written/verbal communication
• A strong work ethic, personal maturity, and the drive to eventually manage teams and projects
• Clear, defined transition from Field Technician to Management
• Gain invaluable, hands-on exposure to Tier-1 major tunnel infrastructure
• Full training provided, including industry-recognised NATA laboratory and field-testing competencies
• Great base rates with excellent penalty rates and overtime available
