Job summary

Expressway Signs & Printworks is seeking an experienced Signwriter/Vinyl Applicator/Installer for a permanent full-time role in Cairns, QLD. You will be hands-on producing and installing a wide variety of signs, including vehicle wraps, and may occasionally work at heights with some heavy lifting.

The successful candidate will have at least two years of trade experience, be reliable, customer-focused and able to work independently or in a team as required.

Qualifications

• Experienced Signwriter/Vinyl Applicator/Installer with installation and repair/service experience.
• Two years’ experience in the trade preferred.
• Current Driver’s Licence
• White card and/or EWP license is an advantage but not essential as training is available.

Signwriter / Vinyl Applicator / Installer needed

This role is a permanent full-time position for a signage all-rounder. The suitable applicant should have a least two years’ experience in the trade and be able to do all types of vinyl application and installations, including vehicle wraps.

This hands‑on role suits an experienced Signwriter who is passionate about the industry. Daily work involves producing and installing a wide variety of sign types. On occasion, work may include working at heights and some heavy lifting may also be involved. An exceptional work ethic and team focus are essential, leading by example and doing what it takes to deliver great signs. The successful applicant should be able to work independently and unsupervised or as part of a team, be punctual and reliable.

We have a well-equipped workshop. Work is primarily Monday to Friday (38 hour week).

This position requires an experienced Signwriter/Vinyl Applicator/Installer with installation and repair/service experience.
