Job summary

Australasian Protective Services is seeking an Experienced Security Technician to install, program and maintain alarm and access control systems across Victoria. The role covers IP-based CCTV installations, security intercoms, and layout designs, with ongoing training and career growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Based in Geelong with sites across Victoria, this full-time position offers daytime Monday–Friday work, occasional weekends, and a focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience installing, programming and maintaining alarm and access control systems (Integriti, Inception, Salto, Tecom, Bosch).
• Solid experience with IP-based CCTV installation and networking setup, maintenance, and configuration.
• Experience with installing and maintaining Security Intercom systems.
• Experience with Security Layout Designs and reading construction/site plans (preferred).
• Current and valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
• A strong team player with positive attitude; strong verbal and written communication.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to upskill in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

What We’re Looking For – Key Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience installing, programming, and maintaining alarm and access control systems (e.g., Integriti, Inception, Salto, Tecom, Bosch, etc.)

Solid experience with IP-based CCTV system installation and related networking setup, maintenance, and configuration
