Job summary

Sinclair Contracting in Traralgon is seeking an experienced Labourer / General Fencer for full-time work across residential, rural and commercial projects. This hands-on role covers fencing, concreting, excavation, machinery operation and basic truck duties as part of a busy Gippsland team.

You will work outdoors in varying conditions, carry out site preparation and assist with load‑in, set posts and gates, with a White Card and a current MR licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have previous fencing or construction experience.
• Physically fit with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• White Card (Construction Induction Card) – essential.
• Medium Rigid truck licence and/or machinery tickets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install steel, timber, rural, security and commercial fencing.
• Carry out concreting work including mixing, pouring and finishing.
• Excavate post holes, footings, trenches and work areas.
• Safely operate excavators and other construction machinery.
• Drive company vehicles and transport materials, machinery and equipment.
• Use hand and power tools and load/unload materials.
• Set posts, install gates and complete general fencing work.
• Undertake general site clean‑up and manual labour tasks.
• Work as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Due to continued company growth, we are seeking an organised and professional Experienced Labourer / General Fencer to join our Traralgon team.

The Opportunity:
This full-time position is a hands‑on role involving fencing, concreting, excavation, machinery operation and truck driving across residential, rural and large‑scale commercial projects.

Key Duties:

Install steel, timber, rural, security and commercial fencing.

Complete concreting work, including mixing, pouring and finishing concrete.

Excavate post holes, footings, trenches and work areas.

Safely operate excavators and other construction machinery.

Drive company vehicles and transport materials, machinery and equipment.

Use hand and power tools.

Load and unload materials and equipment.

Set posts, install gates and complete general fencing work.

Undertake general site clean‑up and manual labour tasks.

Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
