Job summary

CPH Mining & Civil is seeking an Experienced Heavy Haulage Transport Driver to join our Bowen Basin operations in Queensland. You will transport machines to and from mine sites using 2 x 8 Dolly and 5 x 8 Float, ensuring safe loading, securing and escorting as required.

Role involves varied rosters, unsupervised work, load restraint compliance and accurate paperwork. Locally based with DIDO options and meals/accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Heavy haulage/low-loader/plant mobilisation experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic checks and fault reporting.
• Flexibility to work a varied roster.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Knowledge of load restraint guidelines.
• Understanding of fatigue management requirements.

Responsibilities

Experienced Heavy Haulage Transport Driver!

CPH Mining and Civil are seeking another Heavy Haulage Transport Driver to join our team. With over 100 machines in our fleet, the Transport Driver is an integral part of our operations, transporting various machines to and from mine sites across the Bowen Basin. Our new transport driver will operating:

• 2 x 8 Dolly and 5 x 8 Float

What you’ll be doing:

• Safely loading, positioning, restraining and unloading heavy plant and equipment
• Managing oversize and over mass permits, approved routes, curfews and escort requirements
• Completing pre-starts, coupling checks, basic equipment care and defect reporting
• Maintaining work diaries, transport documentation and fatigue-management compliance
• Coordinating movements with operations, mine-site teams, supervisors and escorts
• Working independently and adapting to changing road, weather, access and site conditions

Requirements:

• Demonstrated heavy haulage, low-loader or plant mobilisation experience
