Job summary

Lhr is looking for an experienced Formworker to join our Melbourne-based team. Immediate start with permanent casual status and top hourly rates of $50-$60, plus superannuation and long service leave. Applicants must be willing to relocate.

The role involves interpreting drawings, creating and inspecting formwork, coordinating with trades, and ensuring safety and quality on site. Requirements include 3+ years in formwork, a valid driver's licence, and a Construction White Card; strong problem

Qualifications

• 3+ years of formwork and construction site experience.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Strong problem solving, planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans for formwork to ensure accuracy of work.
• Creating formwork templates and tie installations to ensure the stability of structures.
• Inspecting formwork quality and safety to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Assisting in the setting, levelling, and alignment of formwork.
• Discovering and correcting errors or issues before pouring of concrete
• Striking Formwork after the pour.
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other trades to discuss project status and associated questions.
• Reporting job progress, incidents, and accidents in the workplace.

• Min of 2 years experience in trade
• Proven experience working in the Building & Construction Industry
• Works well in small to large team

• We are looking for an experienced and hard-working Formworker to join our dynamic team in Perth.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and completing a variety of tasks pertaining to formwork on construction sites. You should have a proven track record of success, excellent project management skills, and a passion for building safe and quality structures. Your strong communication, problem-solving and time management abilities will be utilised to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
