Aston Advantage is seeking a skilled forklift operator to move steel stock around the yard, load and unload trucks, and keep the workshop supplied. A current forklift licence and precise, safe operation are essential.

The role offers $35/hr on a temp-to-perm pathway, with optional OT and a monthly BBQ. Upon permanent hire, a yearly bonus and CPI-linked pay increases are possible.

Qualifications

• Must have current forklift licence and exceptional practical operating skills.
• Experience in steel, manufacturing or warehouse is an advantage.

Opportunity: Not every forklift operator is cut out for this one. We're after someone who handles valuable materials and equipment with precision, confidence and total control. You'll move steel around the yard, load and unload trucks, and keep the workshop supplied. Smooth manoeuvres, accurate positioning and a strong safety mindset are essential.

Experience: Current forklift licence and exceptional practical operating skills. You know your machine, judge clearances accurately and manoeuvre confidently without putting people, stock or equipment at risk. Steel, manufacturing or warehouse experience is an advantage, but outstanding forklift ability comes first.

Benefits: $35/hr | Temp-to-perm pathway | Optional OT | Monthly BBQs. Once permanent, you'll be eligible for a yearly bonus and annual CPI-linked pay increases.

Extras: Mon–Thurs 7:00am–3:20pm | Fri 7:00am–1:00pm | 38-hour week | Two paid 20-minute breaks.
