HR Law is a specialist employment and workplace relations law firm with offices in Brisbane CBD and the Gold Coast. We act exclusively for employers and advise across all Australian jurisdictions, giving our team exposure to a broad and interesting range of matters.

HR Law is seeking an experienced employment and workplace relations lawyer to join our busy and growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to build their career within a specialist and collegial firm

Qualifications

Post-admission experience in employment or workplace relations law.
Ability to work collaboratively within a small specialist team.
Strong capability, initiative and genuine interest in this area of law.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic, commercially practical employment/workplace relations advice to employer clients.
Handle matters and litigation across multiple courts and commissions.
Advise on enterprise agreements and conduct related bargaining.
Deal with statutory workers’ compensation matters.
Draft employment documents and policies.
Conduct or assist with workplace investigations.
Present or contribute to client education seminars and webinars.
Support and mentor junior lawyers.
