Job summary

Elouera Early Learning is a boutique 30-place long day care service in Kirrawee, NSW, caring for 0–6 year olds. We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our close-knit team on a full-time basis and help create meaningful learning experiences.

You will plan play-based activities, support each child's development, and work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Current Working With Children Check is required.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are essential.

About the role

As an experienced educator, you will play an important role in creating engaging learning experiences and building strong relationships with children, families and your fellow educators.

Your day will include:

• Planning and providing engaging, play-based learning experiences
• Supporting children's individual development, interests and needs
• Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment
• Building positive and trusting relationships with children and families
• Working collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality care and education
• Contributing to observations, documentation and programming
• Sharing your knowledge and experience with other educators
• Getting involved in messy play, art and craft, outdoor adventures, storytelling and plenty of fun!

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
• Has previous experience working in an early childhood education setting
• Has a current Working With Children Check
• Holds current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Has a strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
• Is confident with programming, observations and documentation
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Is warm, caring, reliable and enthusiastic
• Is passionate about providing high-quality early learning experiences
• Can bring creativity, positivity and a great sense of humour to the team!
