Job summary

Hope & Integrity Care Services is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team across Gold Coast, Brisbane, Bayside Brisbane, Logan and Ipswich. We value hands-on disability support and genuine, person-centred care that helps participants feel safe, respected and supported.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of hands-on experience, with preference given to High‑Intensity or Behaviour Support backgrounds.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year hands-on disability support experience.
Experience in home and/or community settings.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Person-centred approach respecting dignity, choice and independence.
Ability to follow support plans and NDIS requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized support based on each participant's needs, goals and support plan.
Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
Support with meals, household tasks and independent living skills.
Assist with community access, appointments and social participation.
Build trusting, professional relationships while maintaining boundaries.
Complete shift notes, progress notes and incident documentation.
Communicate clearly with participants, families and team.
