Job summary

Wilston Dental Group in Brisbane is seeking an Experienced Dental Assistant to join a varied, full-time role spanning surgery, sterilisation and reception. You will work alongside our dentists and reception team to support high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.

The ideal candidate has experience in dentistry, enjoys both clinical and patient-facing tasks, and is organised, reliable and a team player. Training can be provided for Exact if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Ability to perform both clinical and reception tasks.
• Comfortable with teamwork and patient-facing service.
• Training available for Exact software.

Experienced Dental Assistant – Surgery & Reception

This is a varied full-time role, with some days spent working in surgery alongside our dentists and other days working in reception. It's a great opportunity for an experienced Dental Assistant who enjoys variety and would like to use their dental knowledge across different areas of the practice. You'll be part of a friendly and experienced team, with the role offering a balance of dedicated surgery, sterilisation and reception days. We work together across the practice, with each team member contributing their skills and expertise to provide an excellent experience for our patients and keep the practice running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

Work in surgery alongside dentists

Provide reception duties and patient-facing services

Contribute to maintaining excellent patient experience

Support the practice running smoothly as part of the team

About you

Has previous experience as a Dental Assistant

Enjoys both the clinical and patient-facing aspects of dentistry

Is confident and friendly when dealing with patients

Is organised, reliable and attentive to detail

Enjoys working as part of a team

Is comfortable taking on both surgery and reception responsibilities

Is keen to continue learning and developing their skills

Experience with Exact is an advantage, but training can be provided
