Job summary

Miami One Dental on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our modern, expanded practice. You will provide chairside support for a range of procedures and assist with implants as training is provided. The role suits someone who thrives in a busy clinic and takes initiative while training.

We offer an immediate start for the right candidate, 3–4 days per week with flexible days, and an above-award salary based on skills and experience. A $500 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Experienced in dental assisting (essential).
• Confident with dental terminology and clinical procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and well presented.
• Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable using initiative.
• Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision once trained.
• Friendly and professional with strong communication skills.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working efficiently in a busy practice.
• A quick learner who can take direction and adapt easily.
• A strong team player who is equally capable of working independently.
• Available to work without restrictions, with full Australian work rights.
• Experience with D4W is preferred but not essential.
• Implant assisting experience is highly regarded, however it is not essential. Training can be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Providing a high standard of patient care and support throughout treatment.
• Chairside assisting for general, restorative, cosmetic and complex dental procedures.
• Assisting with implant procedures (training will be provided).
• Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials for treatment.
• Maintaining strict sterilisation and infection control standards.
• Keeping clinical areas clean, stocked and organised.
• Assisting with general clinic maintenance and daily clinical workflow.
• Supporting reception and administrative duties when required.
