Job summary

My Implant Dentist is seeking a Dental Assistant & Front Office Coordinator to join a growing Australian dental group. The role offers chairside clinical support and frontline reception duties within a patient-centred practice.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting with first aid and CPR. 12+ months’ dental experience is preferred; weekend/half-day Saturday shifts are required. Competitive hours and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification.
• 12+ months’ experience in dental assisting or reception (preferred).
• Friendly, patient-focused manner and strong communication skills.
• Composure and organisation in a busy clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance across general, cosmetic and implant procedures.
• Assist with surgeries and preparation; maintain efficient appointment flow.
• Greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, confirmations and scheduling.
• Process payments and manage HICAPS, Medicare and deposits.
• Maintain confidential patient records and infection control protocols.
