Job summary

New Britannia and Angry Tony's Pizza Co in Darlington, NSW 2008 is seeking a full-time Cook. You will prepare and cook a range of menu items, including pizza, and help manage daily specials while maintaining food safety and kitchen cleanliness in a busy environment.

The role requires solid cooking experience, strong hygiene practices, and the ability to work effectively with front-of-house staff during dine-in, pick-up and delivery service. Salary is AU$80,000 per year plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or Diploma of Hospitality Management is required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant commercial cooking experience
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to a consistent standard of quality and presentation
• Prepare pizza dough, bases and toppings, and operate pizza ovens
• Plan and prepare daily specials
• Manage kitchen food safety and hygiene in line with regulations
• Control portion sizes to maintain consistency and minimise waste
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and inventory
• Maintain clean and safe kitchen and collaborate with staff
