Job summary

Vassallo Constructions in Mackay is seeking experienced Civil Plant Operators with skills in Excavators and Skid Steers for immediate start on local civil projects. This Mackay-based role is not FIFO and offers steady local work with opportunities to operate varied plant.

You'll need relevant tickets, a current driver's license, and White/Blue Card, with a strong safety focus and teamwork to deliver across infrastructure projects in the region.

Qualifications

• Relevant plant tickets / Certificates of Competency
• Current Driver Licence (Mandatory)
• Construction Industry White Card / Blue Card (Mandatory)
• Previous experience on civil construction projects
• Strong commitment to safety
• Reliable and positive attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a civil construction crew

Responsibilities

• Operate Excavators from 5T to 35T on civil projects
• Operate Skid Steers as required across sites
• Work across a variety of civil construction and infrastructure projects
• Multi-skilled plant operating capabilities will be highly regarded

With a strong pipeline of civil construction projects across the Mackay region, Vassallo Constructions is looking for skilled and experienced Civil Plant Operators to join our team for an immediate start.

We are currently seeking operators with experience across Excavators and Skid Steers, with multi-skilled plant operators highly regarded.

If you're an experienced operator looking for local work, ongoing opportunities and the opportunity to be part of a strong civil construction team, we want to hear from you.

This is a Mackay-based role and is not FIFO. There may be occasional requirements to work away from Mackay on projects within the Central Queensland region.
