Job summary

Bakers Delight Hervey Bay Stockland in Hervey Bay, Queensland is seeking an experienced Baker for a full-time role. You will produce premium breads and bakery items, maintaining Bakers Delight’s quality, safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous bakery experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
• Ability to operate commercial bakery equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead, ferment and bake a variety of breads and bakery products.
• Measure and prepare ingredients in accordance with production recipes.
• Monitor dough quality throughout the production process.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all products meet Bakers Delight quality standards.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise product waste.
• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet daily production requirements.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment and work areas.
