Job summary

Saint Haven in South Yarra is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to own the club operation during shifts. You will oversee Front of House, Gym Floor, Haven, and Housekeeping teams, ensuring seamless service and flawless presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in luxury hospitality or premium wellness settings (or related fast-paced environments).
• Calm under pressure with strong operational judgement.
• Experience guiding front-of-house, gym, and housekeeping operations in a high-service setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the whole-club operation during your shift.
• Direct teams and coordinate staffing and floor coverage.
• Act as the primary escalation point for members and operational issues.
• Maintain exceptional service, presentation and cleanliness standards.
• Lead opening, closing and compliance procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and service recovery.
• Manage shift reporting, cash handling and POS reconciliation.
• Partner with Heads of Department and the Deputy General Manager.

We’re looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our South Yarra team and take ownership of the club operation while on shift.

The Role

As Duty Manager, you’ll be the operational lead across the entire club, with active teams across Front of House, Gym Floor, Haven and Housekeeping reporting to you during your shift.

You’ll be highly visible, hands-on and trusted to make decisions in the moment, ensuring the club runs seamlessly and our service and presentation standards never slip.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the whole-of-club operation during your shift

• Respond confidently to incidents, emergencies and service recovery

• Partner closely with Heads of Department and the Deputy General Manager

About You

You’ll ideally come from luxury hospitality, private members’ clubs, premium fitness or high-end wellness, with previous experience leading people in a fast-paced environment.

You’re confident, polished and calm under pressure, with strong operational judgement and a genuine understanding of what exceptional service looks like.
