Job summary

Kieser in Australia is hiring an Exercise Scientist to design and supervise one-on-one training programs, assess movement, and apply biomechanics and physiology to optimize client outcomes.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists and exercise scientists to deliver evidence-based care, provide health education, and support clients from beginners to athletes while maintaining a client-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Exercise/Sports Science, or current 3rd year Physiotherapy with Physiology/Anatomy units completed.
• Valid Australian working rights.
• Placement/practicum in Exercise Prescription.
• First Aid & CPR certification
• NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 training, run strength assessments, and analyse movement to help clients reach goals.
• Apply biomechanics, physiology, sports psychology, and motor control principles to create evidence-based solutions.
• Provide practical, science-backed advice on health, fitness and performance.
• Develop and implement tailored exercise prescriptions for recovery, prevention and peak performance.
• Collaborate with Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists to deliver health outcomes.
• Establish, track, and reassess progress for new and long-term clients.
• Guide clients to hit fitness targets, recover from injuries and perform at their best.
• Complete essential admin tasks to support seamless client care.
