Kieser Australia in Hobart is seeking an Exercise Scientist to prescribe and supervise client exercise programs, delivering education on strength training and long-term health. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Exercise/Sports Science or third-year Physiotherapy with Physiology, Anatomy, Biomechanics, and/or Exercise Programming units completed.
• Valid Australian working rights.
• Placement/practicum in Exercise Prescription.
• First Aid & CPR certification.
• NDIS Worker Screening + Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 training, run strength assessments and analyse movement to help clients reach goals.
• Apply biomechanics, physiology, sports psychology, and motor control to create evidence-based solutions.
• Provide practical, science-backed health, fitness and performance advice.
• Develop and implement tailored exercise prescriptions for recovery, prevention and peak performance.
• Collaborate with Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists to deliver client health outcomes.
• Establish, track, and reassess progress for new and long-term clients.
