Job summary

BlueCare, Maryborough, is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to support clients to improve mobility, independence and wellbeing. You’ll work across centre-based and home-visit services, tailoring programs to make a real difference in daily life.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and have the autonomy to manage your own caseload with realistic productivity expectations, while receiving clinical mentoring and the chance to grow your community and private caseload.

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology with ESSA accreditation required.
• Experience or interest in aged care and chronic disease management.
• Ability to run group exercise classes and manage time effectively.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Valid Australian driver's license and vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to improve mobility, independence and wellbeing.
• Work across centre-based and home-visit services with tailored programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Physios, OTs, Dietitians, Social Workers, Podiatrists and Allied Health Assistants.
• Manage own caseload with realistic productivity expectations.
