Job summary

BlueCare in Maryborough is seeking an energetic Exercise Physiologist to support mobility and wellbeing, working across centre-based and home-visit services. You’ll tailor programs to improve daily living and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for holistic care.

You’ll have supervision and mentoring, with a strong induction program and an opportunity to grow your community and private caseload within a fully equipped facility in Maryborough.

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology required (ESSA accreditation preferred).
• Experience with aged care and chronic disease management is advantageous.
• Ability to lead group exercise classes and tailored programs.
• Strong time-management and accurate documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support from Exercise Physiology Lead and Clinical Coordinators.
• Mentoring for new graduates and clinicians with 3+ years’ experience.
• Manage own caseload with autonomy and realistic productivity expectations.
• Grow community and private caseloads; run group programs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and student supervision.
• Undergo comprehensive induction and ongoing supervision.

• Remuneration: $42.15–$59.04/hr (dependent on experience)

Join BlueCare as an Exercise Physiologist and support clients to improve mobility, independence and wellbeing. You’ll work across centre‑based and home‑visit services, tailoring programs that make a genuine difference in daily life.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Physios, OTs, Dietitians, Social Workers, Podiatrists and Allied Health Assistants—all while having the autonomy to manage your own caseload with realistic productivity expectations.

Role Requirements

• Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology + ESSA Accreditation - Essential
• Strong assessment, treatment and communication skills
• Experience or interest in aged care and chronic disease management
• Ability to run group exercise classes
• Effective time‑management and accurate documentation skills
• Confidence using smart devices (or willingness to learn)
• Current Australian Driver's Licence & roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work - Essential

• Skills in hydrotherapy, Pilates or Tai Chi
