BlueCare in Maryborough is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to deliver tailored programs across centre-based and home visit services, helping clients improve mobility, independence and wellbeing.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team including Physios, OTs, Dietitians and more, with autonomy to manage your own caseload and participate in education and group programs. New graduates welcome and opportunities for mentoring.

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology with ESSA accreditation.
• Experience in aged care and chronic disease management encouraged.
• Ability to run group exercise classes.
• Excellent time management and documentation skills.
• Comfort with smart devices.
• Current Australian driver’s license with roadworthy vehicle for work.
• Alignment with BlueCare values and practice standards.
• Hydrotherapy, Pilates or Tai Chi skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and tailor exercise programs across centre-based and home visit services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including Physios, OTs, Dietitians, Social Workers, Podiatrists and Allied Health Professionals.
• Manage own caseload with realistic productivity expectations.
• Contribute to group programs and supervise students where applicable.
• Participate in education sessions and team meetings.

Remuneration: $42.15-$59.04/hr (dependent on experience) + Super + Salary Packaging + Travel Reimbursement + Employee Benefits + 5 Weeks Annual Leave (pro‑rata)

Classification: PO2.1 to PO3.3 - determined by demonstrated experience

• Support from an Exercise Physiology Lead & Clinical Coordinators

• Strong induction program with ongoing supervision

Role Requirements

• Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology + ESSA Accreditation - Essential
• Strong assessment, treatment and communication skills
• Experience or interest in aged care and chronic disease management
• Ability to run group exercise classes
• Effective time‑management and accurate documentation skills
• Confidence using smart devices (or willingness to learn)
• Current Australian Driver's Licence & roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work - Essential
