Job summary

Victory Allied Health on the Gold Coast invites an Exercise Physiologist (full-time or part-time) to join a multidisciplinary private practice. You’ll manage a diverse caseload across musculoskeletal injuries, chronic conditions, and rehabilitation, in clinic, home, or medical centers.

We support ongoing professional development, a graduate program, and flexible hours including tele-health and work-from-home arrangements, plus relocation assistance for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• ESSA accreditation current; private practice experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Take over a caseload for an immediate start; treat clients in clinic, home, and Medical Centre.
• Manage a diverse private practice caseload including musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, and rehabilitation.
• Utilise tele-health and work-from-home options where suitable.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and team learning.

We are a private practice with a multidisciplinary team also consisting of Exercise Physiologists,Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Dietitians, Social Workers, management and admin staff who value and respect each other and our team culture very highly. You will be required to be invested in a holistic approach to your client’s well-being and have excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm.

This is an incredible opportunity for anexperienced or graduate Exercise Physiologist to join our team and have a significant impact in the optimal lifelong health of patients in our community. Our practice has a loyal client following due to the great relationships we have established with GPs, community groups, specialists and local sporting clubs. As such, you will have a diverse caseload, including musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, acute injury and rehabilitation.

You will be part of a supportive and collaborative learning environment that provides both in-house and external professional development opportunities. We’ll support your ambition to further develop your career.

We are looking for the right Exercise Physiologist to come on board to take over a caseload for an immediate start (following online and onsite training). You will be treating clients in a private clinic facility, home, and/or Medical Centre from all funding systems including (but not limited to) Medicare, Private, NDIS, DVA, WorkCover, Insurance and sporting populations.

The successful applicant will require:

• Experience as a private practice Exercise Physiolgist is desirable, not essential
• Current ESSA Accreditation
• Ability to build and maintain rapport with patients and other health professionals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
• Competent in computer skills and ability to learn schedulingand software programs.
• Passion for ongoing learning and progression
• Driver’s license
