Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a highly organized Program Manager / Executive Assistant to support the ANZ Public Sector Federal Government business. This role blends operational planning with executive support to the Head of Federal Government in a fast-paced environment.

You'll coordinate cross-functional initiatives, manage calendars, prepare briefing materials, and drive process improvements across FED priorities while engaging senior leadership and government partners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industries experience.
• 3+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
• Any prior experience in AI centric business with high proficiency in artifact management and automation of work processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the ANZPS FED leadership team with day‑to‑day operational planning, cadence management, and business rhythm activities (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs, and planning cycles)
• Coordinate cross‑vertical and cross‑functional initiatives across sales, specialist, partner, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on FED priorities
• Track and report on key business metrics, pipeline health, goal attainment, and operational KPIs
• Maintain and manage team planning documents, trackers, and dashboards
• Drive operational excellence by identifying process gaps and implementing improvements
• Support annual and mid‑year planning processes (OP1/OP2) including data gathering, narrative coordination, and timeline management
• Coordinate hiring activities including interview scheduling, candidate tracking, and onboarding logistics
• Executive Assistance to Head of Federal Government
• Manage complex calendar scheduling, with key Customer stakeholders
• Run a customer engagement strategy against the FED Priorities with a view to delivering high customer care and relationship building
• Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and pre‑reads for internal and external meetings
• Coordinate executive‑level engagements with government customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
