Job summary

DFP Recruitment is seeking a Program Manager to lead major land development and infrastructure projects in Canberra, ACT. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, ensuring safety, timeliness and compliance with contract and governance requirements.

Reporting to a senior executive, you will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and risks, engage stakeholders across government, industry and community, and provide strategic briefings to executives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering complex construction, infrastructure or land development projects.
• Strong program management across planning, procurement, construction and handover.
• Excellent commercial acumen with contracts, procurement and governance.
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement across government, industry and executives.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
• Exceptional communication skills and executive briefing ability.
• Proactive, solutions-focused with multiple priorities in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex development projects from sales to completion.
• Manage scope, budgets, schedules, risks and performance for successful delivery.
• Oversee contractual obligations, governance frameworks and compliance.
• Build relationships with developers, contractors, government agencies and stakeholders.
• Provide high-quality reporting and strategic advice to senior executives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, consultants and contractors.
• Drive continuous improvement and delivery of strong outcomes.
