Job description

Some roles support a business. This role helps shape what comes next.
Rauland is growing.

Year after year, we've continued to expand our impact, invest in our people and strengthen the technology that supports healthcare organisations across Australia and New Zealand.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an exceptional Executive Officer to partner closely with our CEO and help our Executive and Leadership Teams stay aligned, focused and delivering on what matters most.

This role sits at the centre of the organisation.

You'll have visibility across every part of the business, work alongside senior leaders and play a key role in helping turn strategy into action. You'll help create the clarity, coordination and momentum that enables a growing organisation to succeed.

If you're someone who loves bringing order to complexity, building trusted relationships and making a meaningful contribution, this is an opportunity to help shape the future of a business that's going places.

Why you'll love this role
  • Work directly with the CEO and senior leaders across the organisation.

  • Be part of a business with a strong and consistent growth trajectory.

  • Play a meaningful role in delivering the priorities shaping our future.

  • Enjoy genuine variety across governance, executive support, leadership events, communications, strategy and business operations.

  • Lead and influence through coordination, accountability and follow-through.

  • Grow your capability and exposure across every part of the business.

  • Make a genuine impact, helping leaders and teams perform at their best.

What you'll be doing

You'll help create the coordination, accountability and momentum that keeps a growing organisation moving forward.

You'll:

  • Partner closely with the CEO to manage priorities, communications, stakeholder engagement and key business commitments.

  • Anticipate needs, remove obstacles and ensure the CEO is prepared, informed and focused on what matters most.

  • Work closely with the Executive Team and Leadership Team to ensure commitments, deliverables, reports and actions are completed on time and to a high standard.

  • Create visibility of priorities, drive follow-through and keep momentum on key initiatives and business outcomes.

  • Coordinate Board, Executive and Leadership Team governance, including agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking.

  • Prepare clear, polished and professional communications, reports, presentations and briefing materials.

  • Support leadership forums, strategic planning activities, business events and organisation-wide initiatives.

  • Build trusted relationships across the organisation and act as a key point of coordination between leaders and stakeholders.

  • Lead the executive office function and support the Office Manager.

  • Improve systems, processes and ways of working that help people work smarter and stay aligned.

  • Leverage Microsoft 365, Planner, AI and digital tools to improve efficiency, visibility and quality.

Who'll thrive in this role?

We're looking for someone who combines exceptional organisation with great judgement, strong communication skills and a genuine drive to help others succeed.

You'll thrive here if you:

  • Think three steps ahead and anticipate needs before they're raised.

  • Are exceptionally organised and bring calm, clarity and structure to competing priorities.

  • Communicate brilliantly, both verbally and in writing.

  • Know how to influence, challenge and follow up in a way that builds trust and accountability.

  • Have high emotional intelligence and can confidently navigate different personalities, emotions and situations.

  • Build strong relationships and quickly earn credibility with people at all levels.

  • Are resilient and adaptable, staying calm and focused when priorities shift.

  • Have strong digital capability and confidently use Microsoft 365, Planner, AI and productivity tools.

  • Create simple, practical solutions rather than unnecessary complexity.

  • Make information easy to find, easy to understand and easy to act on.

  • Are naturally curious and always looking for a better way to do things.

  • Are driven by outcomes and take pride in getting things done.

  • Roll up your sleeves, take ownership and do what's needed to support the team and the business.
