SA Health seeks a Director of Nursing to provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing services across the Renmark Paringa District Hospital and its 89-bed residential aged care facility. The role focuses on governance, practice standards and continuous improvement while ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
The successful candidate will possess RN registration, substantial post‑registration experience, and strong leadership, communication and financial management capabilities,
Qualifications
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with a current practising certificate, and at least five years’ post-registration experience.
- Demonstrated senior management experience in leadership, strategic planning, personnel and financial management.
- Broad knowledge of contemporary healthcare issues, legislation and industrial agreements, with a track record in quality improvement.

- Develop and implement frameworks and systems that support safe, effective and contemporary nursing practice.
- Monitor clinical and service delivery standards and drive continuous improvement and cost-effective health service delivery.
