Job summary

Redstone Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a Director of Nursing in rural Victoria. This executive leadership role oversees acute and aged care across two rural campuses.

You will lead Nurse Unit Managers, strengthen clinical standards and drive service improvements in partnership with the Executive Leadership Team, delivering patient-centred care and system-wide governance. Flexible accommodation and relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in DON/NUM roles.
• Proven ability to lead across acute and aged care services.
• Strong governance, quality improvement and documentation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible clinical and operational leadership across two campuses.
• Develop and support NUMs with clear expectations and performance.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centered care with accurate documentation.
• Champion governance, quality improvement, and accreditation readiness.
• Monitor performance, manage risk and oversee incident response.
• Drive workforce engagement and staff development.
• Build relationships with staff, families and stakeholders.
