Job summary

Commonwealth Bank of Australia is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner in Sydney to partner with senior leaders across Retail Banking Services. You will provide strategic people advice to drive people strategies and improve business performance.

Qualifications

• Substantial, relevant experience within Human Resources or a related field.

• Proven ability to lead initiatives and navigate change, ambiguity and competing priorities.
• Thorough understanding of current best practice people, culture and engagement methodologies.

• 10+ years in Human Resources, with 5+ years as an HR Business Partner.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualifications are desired but not essential.

This role partners with senior leaders across Retail Banking Services, providing strategic people advice to drive leading people strategies and optimize business performance.

• Provide high calibre advice and coaching to leaders, as well as using data and insights to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic decisions.
• Focus areas include talent management & succession planning, driving high performing teams, strategic workforce planning, organisational design and change, leadership coaching, organisational effectiveness, and championing diversity, equity and a positive employee experience.
• The role is also required to effectively partner with senior business leaders and key teams within HR including Group People Services, Centres of Expertise and Crew Leads to design and implement people strategies, plans and processes that respond to evolving business contexts.
• Drive measurable people, customer and business outcomes.
