Job summary

CatholicCare Central Queensland is seeking an accomplished executive to lead its Community & In-Home Aged Care portfolio across a large regional footprint. The role reports to the CEO and sits on the Executive Leadership Team, with responsibility for strategy, growth and service excellence.

The successful candidate will strengthen leadership capability, expand market share, and align operations with community needs while ensuring high quality client outcomes and financial sustainability.

Following significant investment in systems, governance and organisational capability, CatholicCare is entering its next phase of growth. As part of a newly established executive structure, it is seeking an accomplished leader to take responsibility for its $30 million Community & In-Home Aged Care portfolio.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and contributing as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a geographically dispersed network of services.

Where is the job located?

Rockhampton is the preferred base, reflecting the location of the leadership team and the largest concentration of services. However, CatholicCare Central Queensland offers genuine flexibility for the successful executive to be based in Bundaberg, Gladstone, Mackay or Yeppoon.

This is not a turnaround.

Your mandate

• Lead the strategy, performance and continued development of the Community & In-Home Aged Care portfolio.
• Drive sustainable growth by increasing market share, strengthening referral pathways and identifying new service opportunities.
• Coach and develop an experienced leadership team, creating greater accountability, capability and succession depth.
• Standardise operating practices, reporting and service quality while preserving responsiveness to local communities.
• Improve workforce planning, retention, rostering, productivity and financial performance.
• Build trusted relationships with government, hospitals, peak bodies, referral partners and communities across the region.
• Champion innovation, exceptional client outcomes and meaningful engagement with clients and families.

About you

You are an experienced executive who has led geographically dispersed service delivery in community or in-home aged care, residential aged care, disability services, community health or healthcare. You can translate strategy into execution and have a track record of growing services, developing leaders, improving performance and delivering excellent client outcomes.
