Job summary

The Australian Taxation Office is seeking an exceptional leader to join the Enterprise Solutions and Technology executive team as Deputy Commissioner, Digital Delivery. You will shape the future of digital government and deliver trusted digital experiences for millions of Australians, leading a dispersed workforce and directing a portfolio that serves tax, superannuation and registry systems.

You will drive digital identity, secure services and system integration, influence major investment

Qualifications

Proven leadership of large, diverse teams delivering high-performing operational outcomes in complex tech environments.
Experience leading design, delivery and operation of secure, scalable digital services at scale.
Strong strategic capability to drive digital transformation and technology investment decisions.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across organisational and government boundaries.

Responsibilities

Lead the Enterprise Solutions and Technology executive team and set strategic direction across the EST portfolio.
Oversee secure, accessible, scalable, customer-focused digital products and services.
Collaborate across portfolios to align enterprise priorities and deliver EST’s vision and objectives.
Advise the ATO Executive, Treasury and Ministers on digital delivery and transformation.
