Job summary

Cumberland City Council is seeking an experienced senior leader to manage Strategic Asset Management and Capital Projects. The Executive Manager Capital Projects and Assets will lead a team of about 19 staff, oversee program delivery, budgets, and community-focused outcomes.

Reporting to the Director City Services, you will bring engineering or project management qualifications, advanced communication, and strong governance capabilities to drive high-quality service delivery in a thriving

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in engineering and/or project management with significant leadership experience.
• Experience in capital works programs and project delivery.
• Experience planning and managing substantial budgets.
• Ability to operate in a service-based environment focused on community outcomes.
• Ability to lead a team of qualified staff to high-performance results.
• Computer literacy across MS Office suite.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven capacity to work in a senior leadership team.
• Current Class C drivers' licence.
