Qualifications

• Extensive experience within the higher education sector is essential, with a strong understanding of university operations and stakeholder complexity.
• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership position, ideally at Director level, with accountability for complex technology portfolios.
• Demonstrated success leading digital transformation, improving delivery maturity and driving organisational change.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with credibility to engage senior academics and executive leadership.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, operating models and portfolio management.

Responsabilités

• Lead a significant portfolio of student and academic-facing technology services, platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
• Drive improvements in project delivery, governance, accountability and operational performance, ensuring successful delivery of complex technology programs.
• Build trusted relationships with senior academics, faculty leaders and executive stakeholders, aligning technology initiatives with institutional priorities.
• Lead, mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a high-performing, collaborative and service-focused culture.
• Play a key role in implementing a refreshed IT operating model, strengthening delivery capability and driving organisational change.
• Champion service excellence and continuous improvement, building stakeholder confidence and delivering measurable business outcomes.
