Job summary

Silk Hospitality is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping department in a partner Sydney hotel. You will oversee a large team across room attendants, housepersons, public area attendants and supervisors, ensuring high standards, productivity, and guest satisfaction.

Reporting to hotel management and Silk Hospitality leadership, you will drive quality, safety, and performance while fostering a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large housekeeping teams in hotels.
• Strong focus on quality standards and guest satisfaction.
• Experience managing rosters, labour costs and turnover.
• Ability to train and develop supervisors and room attendants.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day housekeeping operations.
• Drive room cleanliness, presentation and public area standards.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach and develop team members and supervisors.
• Monitor productivity, labour costs and operational performance.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and brand standards.
• Build strong relationships with hotel management and stakeholders.
