Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin seeks a full-time Head Chef with Asian specialty experience to lead a fast-paced kitchen, delivering authentic flavours with modern techniques in a premium dining environment.

You will design menus across Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Malaysian cuisines, mentor a diverse team, manage food costs and labour, and uphold food safety standards to drive profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale kitchen operations, ideally within high-volume Asian cuisine.
• Background in premium dining or large-scale functions with high-end venues favored.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and inspire diverse culinary teams.
• Strong expertise in Asian menu development, stock control and cost management.
• Commercially driven with a track record of delivering operational and financial outcomes.
• Culinary qualifications with focus on Asian cuisine preferred.
• Confidence using kitchen and business systems including stock control platforms, spreadsheets and reporting tools.
