Development Victoria is seeking an Executive General Manager, Investment & Portfolio Management to set strategic direction for a multi-billion-dollar development pipeline spanning housing, infrastructure and precinct projects. You will engage Government and private sector partners to identify opportunities and assess them against financial and strategic priorities.

You will lead portfolio strategy, originate major projects, and oversee high-value transactions while building a high-performing

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years in development, investment management, and/or origination.
• Tertiary degree or higher qualification in relevant fields.
• Proven commercial and financial acumen with experience in complex deal-making.
• Deep understanding of government priorities, market drivers and high-level stakeholder engagement.
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and ability to deliver policy and commercial outcomes.
• Track record leading senior teams and delivering high-value property and investment projects.

• Shape and deliver a portfolio strategy that drives growth and community benefit.
• Originate and secure major projects through partnerships with government and private sector.
• Oversee acquisitions, disposals, JVs, and complex development agreements.
• Lead development and implementation of portfolio strategies across housing, infrastructure and precincts.
• Provide strategic advice at Board and CEO level with rigorous financial modelling.
• Build a high-performing team with expertise in origination, commercial structuring, and ESG considerations.
