Job summary

Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking an Executive Director Operations to lead clinical operations and performance across the District, reporting to the Chief Executive. You will shape the next phase of growth and oversee district-wide services with strong governance and collaboration.

The role requires senior leadership experience in a large health organisation, driving patient-centred care and system-wide improvements while engaging clinicians, managers and partners.

Qualifications

• Senior health executive with extensive leadership experience in complex organisations delivering health services.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic and operational plans across large districts.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and counsel to the Chief Executive, the executive team and the Board.
• Lead and deliver strategic and operational plans, policy development, business strategy and clinical service design.
• Provide executive leadership and oversight of hospitals and health services via 12 direct reports.
• Elevate financial and operational performance with stewardship of a $2.9bn budget.
