Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking a visionary District Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services. This senior executive will provide district‑wide leadership across nursing and midwifery, ensuring governance, workforce capability and high standards of care.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in a large health service, with a focus on workforce planning, clinical governance and strategic priority delivery to improve patient outcomes across Northern NSW.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife with Australia’s Nursing and Midwifery Board.
• Tertiary qualifications in leadership, management or a related field.
• Extensive executive leadership experience within a complex health service environment.
• Demonstrated success leading workforce strategy, professional governance and organisational reform.
