Job summary

The Deputy Director of Technology at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust leads across the Group Digital Services portfolio, shaping technology strategy and delivery to support the NHS Long Term Plan.

Reporting to the Director of Technology, the postholder drives modern, secure digital services, governance, architecture and resilience to enable safe, high-quality care across five hospital sites and regional services.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across the Group technology portfolio and be accountable for developing, delivering and continuously improving technology services.
• Lead technology strategy, enterprise standards, architecture, operations, service management, cloud platforms and infrastructure.
• Drive technology resilience, security and patient safety while enabling 24/7 clinical care.
• Embed consistent Group standards, governance, supplier performance and national standards compliance.
• Develop a high-performing, inclusive technology workforce and manage succession planning.
