Job summary

NAB is seeking an Executive Director to lead high-profile Data Centre and Digital Infrastructure transactions across Australia and New Zealand. You will originate and structure complex Project, Acquisition and Structured Finance solutions, drawing on deep infrastructure finance expertise to deliver tailored outcomes for private capital investors and multinational clients.

In this role you will work with our Global Institutional Banking team, steering discussions with customers and syndicate

Qualifications

• Extensive Project Finance or related experience in a Tier 1 bank or infrastructure platform.
• Data Centre / Digital Infrastructure experience relevant to the sector.
• Strong credit structuring, risk assessment and modelling capabilities.
• Knowledge of project finance documentation and commercial judgement.
• Ability to translate sector insights for clients and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead origination, structuring and execution of transactions across Data Centres and Digital Infrastructure.
• Develop tailored financing solutions with investors and clients.
• Navigate complex transactions with banks, advisers and syndicates.

In the role of Executive Director, you will work closely with our Global Institutional Bankingteam, contributing to key business priorities and continuously improving how we serve our customers.

You’ll make an impact each day by:

Lead the origination, structuring and execution of transactions across Data Centres, Digital Infrastructure and Core Plus Infrastructure, spanning acquisition finance, greenfield project finance and other structured finance opportunities

Work with private capital investors, private equity sponsors, institutional and multinational clients to develop tailored financing solutions

Take a leading role in external discussions with customers, syndicate banks and advisers, navigating complex transactions and commercial outcomes

Partner across Corporate & Institutional Banking to identify broader opportunities and deliver more holistic outcomes for clients

Operate as a senior individual contributor, bringing deep sector and transaction expertise while providing guidance and coaching across the broader team as required

You’ll bring to this role:

Extensive Project Finance or related experience, ideally gained within a Tier 1 domestic or international bank, or from a relevant infrastructure / Data Centre platform

Demonstrated Data Centre / Digital Infrastructure experience, coupled with strong knowledge of the broader infrastructure financing environment

Deep capability across credit structuring, risk assessment, financial analysis/modelling, negotiation and credit writing

Strong understanding of project and finance documentation, with the commercial judgement to lead complex financing discussions

The ability to interpret market and portfolio trends and translate complex sector insights clearly for clients and senior stakeholders
