Job summary

The Department of Justice and Community Safety in Victoria is seeking an Executive Director, Emergency Management Technology and Data to lead EMT&D and drive delivery of government emergency technology policy priorities.

You will oversee EM Technology and Data, build high-performing teams, manage budgets, and coordinate reporting on operations and outcomes for Emergency Management Victoria and the department.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading technology programs in complex environments.
• Strategic planning and stakeholder management experience in large enterprises.
• Experience delivering large IT/communications initiatives through full life cycle.
• Knowledge of Victorian Government processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EM Technology and Data business unit, allocating resources, budgets, planning and reporting; foster a positive culture and staff development.
• Direct the work program for the EM Technology and Data unit in line with government priorities and DJCS Emergency Management strategy.
• Oversee timely, high-quality reporting on operational coordination services and outcomes for executives and government.
