The NSW Ministry of Health's Centre for Aboriginal Health invites applications for an Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Executive Director. This role goes beyond routine admin, coordinating priorities, managing relationships, and helping the director operate efficiently.
Based at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards NSW, 35 hours per week. This temporary full-time position runs until 18 September 2027 with potential extension.
Whilst this position is open to all individuals, it is targeted to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people under section 21 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply and consideration will be given to suitable Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants to promote equal or improved access. As the Executive Assistant you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Executive Director in the Centre for Aboriginal Health. The role goes beyond traditional administrative tasks and often involves coordinating priorities, managing relationships, and supporting the Executive Director to operate efficiently. As the Executive Assistant you will also work closely with the Executive Officer.
