South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) seeks an Administration Team Leader for the Community Management Centre at Prince of Wales Hospital. You will lead the administrative team, allocate work, supervise shifts and ensure timely, high-quality services to patients and staff.

You will provide expert advise on admin processes, generate high-quality reports, and drive continuous improvements to support current and future organisational needs.

The Role

The Administration Team Leader within the Community Management Centre provides high-level administrative leadership and coordination to support the delivery of efficient, effective and customer-focused services. The role leads and develops the administration team, overseeing work allocation, priorities and shift supervision while ensuring service standards and agreed timeframes are met.

Working closely with senior leaders and key internal and external stakeholders, the position provides expert advice on administrative processes, policies and procedures, prepares high-quality reports and correspondence, and ensures effective records management. The role also drives the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices to support current and future organisational needs and the delivery of quality client and patient-focused services.

Where You'll be Working

Prince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Service is a Level 6 Tertiary Referral Hospital with an inpatient bed base of 370. Each year we care for more than 70,000 patients in our Emergency Department and have around 50,000 admissions to the inpatient units. POWH offers an outpatient service and rural outreach service and provides more than 900,000 occasions of non-admitted patient care each year, including innovative virtual models of care. We have transitioned the majority of inpatient units and wards to the Acute Services Building (ASB) including a state of the art Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. POWH provides an exceptional staff experience and enhanced patient and family outcomes as a result of the provision of person-centred care.
