Ovolo Sydney is entering an exciting new chapter as part of Sydney's iconic hotel relaunch. We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant Manager with a luxury hotel background to help lead this relaunch alongside our Area General Manager.

This role delivers hands-on leadership across Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage and Guest Experience, plus recruitment, onboarding and development of high‑performing teams as we prepare for opening and long‑term success.

We're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant Manager with a background in luxury hotels who is ready to help lead this exciting journey alongside our Area General Manager. Your Opportunity

Working alongside the Area General Manager, you'll help shape every aspect of the guest journey while ensuring operational excellence across the hotel.

You'll be heavily involved in preparing the hotel for launch, embedding exceptional service standards, developing our teams and ensuring every operational touchpoint is ready to welcome guests.

This role offers genuine career progression and would suit an experienced Operations Manager, Hotel Manager or Executive Assistant Manager ready to take the next step towards becoming a General Manager.

You Will Support

• Operational readiness across every department.
• Recruitment, onboarding and team development.

Operational Excellence

You Will Oversee Daily Hotel Operations Across

• Front Office
• Housekeeping

You will ensure every department works together seamlessly to deliver a luxury guest experience.

Commercial Leadership

Great guest experiences create great commercial outcomes.

You will;

• Drive Rooms and F&B performance.
• Improve profitability without compromising service.
• Analyse guest feedback and commercial performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue and operational efficiency.

About You

You're an experienced luxury hotel leader who thrives in high-energy environments and loves being visible throughout the hotel.

You lead from the front, remain calm under pressure and understand that luxury is found in the smallest details.

You Will Bring

• Luxury hotel leadership experience (essential).
• Experience as an Executive Assistant Manager, Hotel Manager or senior Operations Manager.
• Strong Rooms Division experience with exposure to Food & Beverage operations.
• Experience supporting hotel openings, refurbishments or major transformations (highly regarded).
• Commercial acumen across Rooms, Food & Beverage and profitability.
• A passion for coaching and developing high-performing teams.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for guest experience.
